Why does my garage door reverse before it closes?
In most cases one of the two safety sensors has lost alignment or its beam is blocked. A bin, a bicycle wheel or a ridge of blown dust along the floor is enough. If both sensor lights are steady and the door still reverses, the travel or force settings may need adjusting, which is a job for the technician rather than trial and error.
Can an opener be repaired or does it need replacing?
